This beautiful Monarch chose my fern as its final resting place. A butterfly's life is short, and focused on the moment and its purpose within that moment. It seems to know nothing about time. What a wonderful image for transformation!
Butterflies travel great distances in their short lives, which begin as eggs, that then become soft, fuzzy caterpillars, who soon shed their skins to reveal hard-shelled chrysalises. Finally, they emerge in all their glory as colorful, winged Monarch Butterflies...flying free, unbound by time...transformed!
